Privacy

Short, because this site collects very little. Everything below describes what the code actually does, not what a template says it might.

What stays in your browser

Your bag is kept in your own browser’s local storage under the key peakgo.cart.v1. It never reaches us until you check out. Clearing your browser data empties it.

The fuel plan builder sends nothing anywhere. The sport, duration and body mass you type are used to do arithmetic on your device and are not stored, logged or transmitted.

Cookies

There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this site. There is no Google Analytics, no pixel, and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.

One cookie exists: peakgo_admin, set only when the shop owner signs in to the admin area. It holds a signed session token, is marked HttpOnly and Secure, and expires after twelve hours. If you are a customer, you will never be issued one.

What we collect when you order

The details you type at checkout: your name, email address, delivery address, and what you bought. We need these to send you a parcel and to tell you it is coming. They are kept with the order.

We do not ask for a date of birth, a phone number, or anything else we do not need to deliver a pouch of sweets.

Payment

Payments are taken by Stripe. You enter your card on Stripe’s own page, so your card number never touches this site or its servers and we could not store it if we wanted to. What comes back to us is a payment reference, the delivery address you confirmed, and your email address. Stripe’s own privacy terms cover what they hold.

Forms

The contact and newsletter forms still validate in your browser and do not submit anywhere. The success message says so rather than pretending a record was created. Order emails are a separate thing and do send: see below.

Who else sees it

Four companies, and no others. Vercel hosts the site and therefore sees standard server log information such as IP addresses. Upstash stores the orders. Stripe takes the payment and is the only one that sees your card.Resend delivers your order confirmation and dispatch emails, and receives your email address and what those emails say in order to send them. We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or pass it to anyone who is not needed to get your order to your door.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as we need them for accounting and returns. Sent emails are retained by Resend for a short period so a delivery problem can be diagnosed. Ask us to delete what we hold and we will, except where we are legally required to retain a sales record.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, and object to how it is used. Email hello@peakgo.ie and we will action it. You can also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. There is no version history yet because there has only ever been one version.
